We Believe In The Gospel

Lake Erie Church (LEC) began in 1966 in Lake County, Ohio, the vision and dreams of Pastors Lloyd and Virginia Scott. Since January 2022, the church has physically been located in Madison, a bedroom community to Cleveland, Ohio. LEC is a multi- generational, multi-cultural Pentecostal church with a heart for our community and a bold vision for the world.

The church is actively engaged with missions on five continents of the world in evangelism, church planting, children’s ministry and benevolence work in some of the poorest places in the world. This global vision is part of the fulfillment of a prophecy spoken over our church many years ago that our church would be a light to the nations of the world. We also have active engagement with community outreaches in Lake County for homeless, widows, teen pregnancy, etc. Our community needs Jesus, and we are actively seeking to bring an encounter with Jesus Christ to everyone we meet.

LEC has a strong foundation in generational ministry as we now proudly have six
generations that worship together on our campus. Additionally, in 2022, the church
launched Generations Matter Early Learning Center (GMELC) for infants through age
Pre-K for the families of our community and in 2025, we opened our first classrooms for
Generations Matter Academy with a commitment to strong academic excellence taught
with a Biblical worldview.

Bill and Shelley Isaacs have been the lead pastors since 2019 and are the thirteenth pastors of the church. Our mission is to Love God, Love People and we like to say that Lake Erie Church is the place where you can believe and belong.
